The Parenting Initiative uses practical discoveries based on 18 years of research by a team of ordinary parents, medical doctors, and professionals in children’s education. The Parenting Initiative has developed workshops, presentations, discussion groups, and educational materials for adults, teens, and children. The team has conducted hundreds of workshops, discussion groups, and follow-up coaching on the topics outlined in this site. The issues and items in it are based on the success of these activities. In addition, an extensive nationwide survey of 1600 parents and formal research supports the Parenting Initiative's main findings and propositions.
